- Washing-up liquid
- Cream cleaner or cleaning stone
- Vinegar or citric acid (optional)
- Baking powder or baking soda (optional)
- Microfibre cloths or sponges
- Disposable gloves
Steps:
- Preparation: Start by preparing the kitchen. Clear crockery, food and other items from the work surfaces and sink.
- Wash crockery and cutlery: If you have left crockery or cutlery standing, rinse it or put it in the dishwasher.
- Emptying and cleaning the refrigerator: Check the refrigerator for expired food and remove it. Wipe the shelves and interior surfaces with a damp cloth.
- Emptying and cleaning the cupboards: Check the kitchen cupboards for food and crockery that has expired or is no longer needed. Wipe out the shelves.
- Clean work surfaces: Wipe down worktops, kitchen island and other surfaces with an all-purpose cleaner or a mixture of water and vinegar (1:1 ratio).
- Cooker and oven: Clean the hob, oven and extractor bonnet thoroughly. Remove loose dirt particles and grease. If necessary, use baking powder or baking soda to dissolve stubborn stains or a suitable oven cleaner.
- Sink and tap: Rinse the sink thoroughly and clean it with washing-up liquid. Make sure you also clean the tap and taps. A so-called cleaning stone is also ideal.
- Microwave: Clean the inside and outside of the microwave. Remove food residues and stains.
- Glass surfaces: Clean glass surfaces, such as windows and glass doors, with a glass cleaner.
- Dusting and dusting: Dust shelves, light fittings and other surfaces to remove dust.
- Disposal: Empty the waste bin and clean it. Replace the bin liners.

- Wash your cloths: After cleaning, wash the cloths or sponges used to remove bacteria.
- Organise as required: Organise cupboards, drawers and worktops as required to keep your kitchen tidy.
By regularly cleaning and maintaining your kitchen, you can not only create a hygienic environment, but also extend the life of your kitchen appliances and surfaces.
